The raw data plot going into The Upside Down Pandemic. I'm using the cartographic representation of congressional districts as drawn by Daily Kos and metrics as of September 8th, 2021 gathered by Harvard University. In districts with a light background one is more likely to find a fully vaccinated person than a half/unvaccinated person. In districts with a dark background the opposite is true.

Alrighty, finished pulling data for percent vaccinated by congressional district … gonna extend my set of Upside Down plots.

It was brought to my attention as I was sharing a threadified version (must have been the week I thought folks might be more likely to read a thread on Twitter than a linked post. I was wrong. Folks just aren't interested in reading. So, technically, I am talking to myself right now) of On Political Ideologies that the way I express my thoughts often obscures the point I intend to make. To remedy this I created a thread walking through the obscurities of the aforementioned thread. I figured I may as well do the same for the post from which that thread had been transcribed (So … for the record … I wrote a post which became a thread which warranted the creation of an entirely new thread to explain what the first original thread that used to be a post ought to have just said plainly from the start which is now becoming a new post).

For the Twitter card dabblers … stick your summary where your title is meant to be when you don't have a proper title for your post. Feels more on point to me.

I'm so un-invested in putting in the bullsh$t it takes to drive folks towards my content. Perhaps your algorithms could use some work Jack … Mark. Savantish m0therf$&kers aren't into jumpin' through hoops. You end up tipping towards derivative. It ain't a good look.
