A lot of styling and parameterization left; but, I removed all the injected Bootstrap so I'm calling this progress for the table of contents plugin.
How 'bout that … Manchin is a no… turns out the thing I knew all along … I knew all along.
Sooo … I need to work out the style and location of the button … but the table of contents plugin just passed the proof-of-concept stage.
Sooo … yeah … the plugin walkthrough I've been writing has grown so massive that I'm writing another plugin to make the walkthrough digestible.
By the way y'all, I just confirmed that the Micro.blog Conversation.js API (which I encapsulate inside plugin-conversation and then inject into my theme by including its
plugin-conversation.htmlpartial) plus Twitter linking via Bridgy is totally a thing.

This morning's random perusal of the Hugo documentation turned up a fix for the
.Lastmodpage variable defaulting to the.Datepage variable value 100% of the time. Once again, the solution involves grabbing the reigns of your Hugo configuration using theconfig/_default/directory. Create a template atconfig/_default/frontmatter.toml. Plop this line in as its content:lastmod = ['lastmod', ':fileModTime', ':default']. Just like that, you have yourself some accurate.PublishDateand.Lastmodvalues.

It's not a messaging problem Paula, it's a bifurcated information ecosystem problem.
I suppose I oughta create a version of this one with Manchin and Sinema riding the elephant.
Nobody is biting on Etu, so next up would be Kala.
Imma toss out my chosen names for various models of a particular line of apple device. Y'all stop me when you figure out what kind of device.
First up, we have the little guy we just added to the family today … Etu.
As many sections as this walkthrough is racking up, I think it's time to look into generating a table of contents.
Now I'm thinking these new Twitter origin notifications are on account of the night I spent playing around with Bridgy.
When a bot be driving home your point:
For what it's worth, when I converted my Twitter account into a business account (which just became a thing), I was emailed by my dedicated point of contact for Moondeer at Twitter. I reached out about the warning labels and thus far she has been helpful and highly responsive.
For those interested in seeing the sentiment captured in the last four posts expressed as a rant perhaps worthy of Jack's new sensitive content warning label obsession:
Wanna account for an age without guardrails against bad faith propaganda? Set down the tribal drums. Stop living from meme to meme and start living from moment to moment. Muster every shred of patience you possess … and educate.
Wanna unify constituencies beneath a shared f$&king reality? Account for an age without guardrails against bad faith propaganda, an age in which social media supplants print media, all editorial control is lost, access if free … and anonymous.
Want the house of cards to tumble? Unify constituencies beneath a shared f$&king reality. The needle moves not otherwise.
For a hint of how it goes next November:
For the curious, the draft so far of that walkthrough is sitting on my test blog (I always have to check first whether attempts at syntax highlighted code went to sh$t): moondeer-test.micro.blog/2021/12/1...
Estimated reading time for the plugin walkthrough I'm working on us up to 26 minutes. Thankfully I'm on the last module.
And, by the way, my appeal of this warning consisted of three characters … utilizing two letters … and I still believe it fully captures my objection to this tweet being labeled as sensitive content. Ready? Here it comes…
FFS
Perhaps … Jack … part of the problem may lie in your seeming inability to distinguish between that which has been reported…

and that which has been appealed?

One of these days those street sweepers are just gonna be big f$&kin' roombas.
On the Dwindling Flames of Prometheus' Fire

For f$&ks sake, Chuck Todd (and f$&king eevvveerrrryyyybody else holed up in the Beltway … none of you politics-as-usual f$&kers seem to understand the following point), Biden did not unite a coalition composed of all-of-the-f$&king-left and anti-Trump-conservatives. WE F$&KING… UNITED… OURSELVES… (f$&king rapidly I might add) when we suddenly found ourselves shoulder to shoulder standing upon what once was a solitary plane of reality now under assault from an unfamiliar foe firmly entrenched deep within the belly of a full-on-f$&king-fabricated reality … a reality jockeying for position as we race towards our mergeable moment (as sustaining two fully oppositional realities is a short term affair, one shall surely swallow up the other) … winner take all.
