Okay … whatever … I removed the need for the query parameter and added support for cross posting external preview cards in plugin-cards by embedding the card in an a comment and using Javascript to exchange the element content.
Okay … whatever … I put the Javascript back into plugin-cards supporting the
cardifyquery parameter and it only gets loaded when a page actually contains a link with the query parameter. The use case is cross posting preview cards.Well … none of that sh$te worked. Still an either or scenario where the preview card is concerned … in the blog post … or everywhere else.

Gonna repeat myself a couple times while I attempt to manipulate the cross posted content.
The irony of rolling my own preview cards statically … now I have to figure out how to keep the HTML in my post but send the cardified link when cross posting.
I also drop into ebonics from time to time (for reasons I am still not entirely clear about … best guess being a cross between a stylistic choice and the remnants of the 80's & 90's flavored cultural appropriation I grew up around in Marietta, Georgia).
Side note: I make up words … sometimes 'cause they R close enough 2 the root that they feel like the best way 2 capture my sentiment … & sometimes the choice falls entirely within the realm of the creative (i.e. arborary)

After weeks of chill, three mosquitoes in one week. If this keeps up, I may have to add an example page to the blog displaying some documented squish (though not sure it would do much in the way of deterrence … the insects not absorbing any material is what causes the buzzing).
