I think it is time to disconnect analytics. I remain uninterested in working example traffic.
Guess it was a feature. See where leaving that f$&king control center geometry bug until you literally rewrite the control center has pushed me you little f$&kers
Broke you in under 12 hours. GG Apple Devs
I wonder if we’re headed more towards picking our default assistants like we do our default browsers (there is a term that never evolved) or even further device f$&kery and platform-adoption-as-big-data-asset
Screenshot stitching for capturing scrollable content and conversations… did I just invent YAFAICGAFA?
If Siri knows when I stand up, she oughta be able to remind me to do shit the next time I get up to go somewhere. Just sayin’.
If you were involved in rolling out Matter to make smarthome integration easier… you fucked up. Platform? Irrelevant. You removed what scrap of reliability we managed to scrape together and replaced it with triple the amount of necessary debugging. You fucked up… like, revert to dumbhome fucked up.
Someone oughta submit my #NostalgicNuggs song posts to Apple in a bug report for their limp f$&king shuffle algorithm that has had me playing the same ten bands off a playlist with a 2K+ song count (seeing as the shuffle is lost every GD time the phone restarts).
Someone find me the contact information for the Apple Music engineer to yell at for their piss poor shuffle algorithm implementation. A playlist with over 2000 songs should not pull from the same three fucking albums every fucking time you shuffle it.
The ineffective reach is unfortunate; otherwise, after 3+ years of cross-posting out of Micro.blog, I most certainly would have given y'all an open source iOS app that monitors your MB feed for new posts, automatically cross-posting highly configurable platform specific adaptations of your content.
Not sure who borked who when it comes to Twitter blowing image and preview card display for Micro.blog cross-posts. I'm holding on to all my fucks, anywho. It turns out that when a tree falls in the forest, and nobody is around to hear, it really doesn't make a sound.
Feels like I oughta update my cards plugin to scrape and forward the image provided by the first included card in posts that include one or more preview cards but don't include any images of their own to populate metadata for their own card.
GDammit, someone remind me what it's called when you take ugly ass page URLS ending with file suffixes on your server and hide them behind a pretty directory path structure ending with a forward slash.
Simply can't over stress how underwhelmed I've been with the development of your platform #PostNews. Holler if you're in the Bay Area, need a fixer, and think you can convince me to put my programming hat back on.
Bee tee dubs, @manton, feels like you're missing a whole lot of content not letting videos like this just autoplay muted (I mean, they don't seem to play for me even once I've tapped the button).
So, @Crowdfire, if y'all would just implement posting via Micropub API for those connected other blogs to allow posting to Micro.blog, I may actually be able to use your platform as intended. As is, probably time for me to cancel since I haven't used it for months.
Side note: get with the preview card program already, #Mastodon. Holler if you need it coded for you.
Note to self: if I ever roll my own Micro.blog client, include an option to register a regular expression for a Hugo Shortcode that extracts the anticipated textual footprint for a more accurate character count within the post editor.

Hey @manton, is there a correct way to attach a category when creating a post via the micropub API? This doesn't seem to work. Perhaps I need to use 'category[]' and/or 'music'?
Weird that Gluon only wants to show the first two of the four images in that last post. I just bought a new laptop so rolling my own client is kinda back on the table.
It feels like writing my own algorithm in a shortcut or custom app to truly randomize which albums are touched isn't really something I ought still be contemplating when listening via software shipped by the folks that made digitally shuffled playlists a thing, @Apple engineers.
A solid use case for the introduction of a cross post API for @manton's parser would be that last one. You could configure the output to only have Bonnie's Twitter handle in the twitter post, using her name (or appropriate handle) for the actual blog and/or cross post targets.
A future feature for you @manton: global regex find and replace for the content Markdown files so I can remove the
cross
parameters from mycard
shortcode invocations for all the pages that have already been cross posted (thereby embedding the HTML directly in the Hugo output rather than relying on Javascript to transform the element upon page load (which it does to ensure a regular link is cross posted (from which the target platform can generate its own preview card))).Were I rolling my own cross-poster, @manton, it would also handle posting replies to a previous post for API's that supported it. In this way, I could tack on siloed additional thoughts instead of only sticking those on Twitter.
Bee tee dubs, totally works:
