The artified warp & weft illustration is coming along … but oh my god … so … many … threads.
Disengaged
Still have the angle of that switch to fix and a lot of color balancing to do … but the f$&king dash is finally in place.
For the folks playing along at home.
Down to the dash.
A bit more context for those playing along at home as I head to the gym.
For the folks playing along at home.
And the little f$&ker has a head now.
Guess I'll stick the head on this f$&ker in the morning.
Mitch
Playing around with pastels again for the next one.
Jubilation
Okay … whatever … I rebuilt most of the screen today … tomorrow I'll touch it up.
May or may not touch this f$&ker up in the morning.
Down to a TV screen and some smudging.
Playing around with pastels for the next one.
Texas Power Bill
With the children out the way, I'm starting on that Texas power bill graphic.
Entirely Relatable
Perhaps now that I've finally figured out the hair for these little f$&kers I'll be able to go ahead and finish this one.
Okay … whatever … I spiced it up.
I may tinker with the dirt on that last one … kinda torn between the wicked alcohol coloration and the dirt looking like … well … dirt. Pretty sure I managed to save a pre-smudge layer.
Backyard
A couple more additions in that back right corner come morning and I'll be donzo.
Still some foliage to add; but, hurray for defensible shortcuts. I figured I could just lay the chair pixels from the photo directly into the art since I knotted the damn chair, convincing myself it's totally what Basquiat would have done in the digital age.
